Do you work for a Charity?

We’re looking for a charity partner to become our Charity of the Year for 2019.  We’re having a great year working with Autism Berkshire who do a fantastic job supporting children and families affected by autism right across Berkshire.  Find out more here!

We are now inviting local and national charities who work with local people to apply to become our Charity of the Year 2019.

For 2019 we would love to support a charity that supports people affected by life affecting and/or life limiting conditions.  We would particularly like to hear from charities, including hospices, that work with young adults.

Our annual Open Day every summer is in aid of our Charity of the Year attracting thousands of people and we aim to raise over £10,000.

Being Reading Buses Charity of the Year is about much more than fundraising. We can offer the chance to raise local awareness of your work through our network of services across Reading and the Thames Valley.  We carry over 27 million people every year and your publicity will be feature on all of our on-bus screens. Your charity will also be featured on our website and social media channels.

We also offer you one of our generic buses that you can wrap in your own design!  This will be used on any, and all, of our routes throughout the year and gets your message out to all parts of the communities on our network.  You will need to be able to provide a professional design – we can provide the specifications.

If you are a local charity or a national charity which can demonstrate a local link or commitment, particularly if you are a charity supporting young people with life affecting or life limiting conditions, we would love you to apply to be our Charity of the Year 2019.
