Assistant marketing manager
Here’s a fantastic opportunity for an awesome marketer with a natural flair for engaging content to support the Reading Buses family with a broad range of marketing activities. You will focus on graphic design, copywriting and social media, but there’s even more variety on top. With a starting salary of £30-£35k depending on experience, it’s the perfect next step in your marketing career.
You will quickly hit the ground running, supporting the Marketing Manager to run the department. You will have a minimum 3 years experience in a marketing role. The job has lots of autonomy and will suit a self-starter who knows how to get on with things.
You'll be responsible for the external communication of the company - providing detailed information for customers via our website and app, social media, at stop displays and on-bus information such as timetable leaflets. You will ensure that our relationship with our customers is better than ever.
You'll also help identify trends and plan campaigns to bring the company forward maximising revenue whilst controlling costs.
You'll need a keen eye for detail and a flair for words, as the job involves copywriting, multi-channel media, internal and external marketing, bus and product information, event management, creative briefing, budget control and lots of other exciting marketing stuff!
We’re looking for someone who can stay calm and can 'spin lots of plates' at a time. Your ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise must be top-class.
