WoodleySummary of changes· The two main Woodley services operate on a circular basis – currently 63 and 65. · We will re-number 65 to become 64, this will help customers to remember that 64, being an even number, goes clockwise around Woodley, and Service 63, being odd, goes anti-clockwise. · The Monday to Friday morning rush hour times are being improved on 63 and 64 to give more frequent services to and from Central · The Sunday daytime frequency on these two routes is being doubled from the present hourly service to operate every 30 minutes. · The evening frequency is also being improved with the re-introduction of an hourly service on both routes, Mondays to Saturdays. · On Sunday evenings, only the 64 (old 65) will operate on an hourly basis, with the 10.15 pm journey from · Services 63 and 64 will be operated by brand new double deckers which are colour-coded orange. · The new buses will all be low-floor and fully accessible to make travelling easier for customers with pushchairs or wheelchairs · Service 42 will be renumbered 62 to more closely identify it as a Woodley route. The route will be unchanged, and will continue to link parts of Woodley and Earley with the Your commentsA number of respondents (four people in total) thought the renumbering of Service 65 to 64 was unnecessary. This renumbering will still proceed as it is felt that it will help customers remember whether buses go anti-clockwise (odd numbered - 63) or clockwise (even numbered - 64). The improved service levels during the evenings and on Sunday daytime have been welcomed. This will be monitored during 2008 with a view to possible further improvements at a later stage.
