Work by Southern Gas Networks to replace the gas mains around Woodley Roundabout (“Just Tiles” roundabout) commence on Monday 19 July 2010 and are expected to last for up to 14 weeks.
Apart from the work on the roundabout itself, this phase also includes the first 50 metres or so into Headley Road, Butts Hill Road and Headley Road East.
Three-way temporary traffic lights will be in operation throughout the period.
To reduce the effects of the delays, Loddon Bridge Road (between the roundabout and Fosters Lane) will be closed during the same period.
When the works involves the first 50 metres of Headley Road, it may be necessary to replace the Headley Road Circle bus stops with temporary bus stops further up Headley Road.
Bus services will be subject to delays especially at peak periods.
