Timetable changes

We are changing some of our timetables from Monday 19 February. 

You can see all the full information below as we give you a route-by-route summary (including the main changes to look out for) and link to the PDF version of the timetables. 

caversham changes

As you may be aware, we had a consultation towards the end of last year to change our routes in Caversham to ensure that we could make them more efficient to enable us to continue to run them.
The table below gives a brief overview of the changes to each route, but for a more in-depth look at the changes, click here

 Revised route to provide better links from Whitley Wood to the Hospital. Route will run Monday to Saturday and include extra journeys to Mereoak park & ride. Buses will no longer use Whiteknights Road, but will revert to using Shinfield Road.

 Timetable change to improve reliability. No change to route or frequencies.  Click here for the times. 
 Combined with pink 22 to become red 22! Route no longer runs to Whitley Wood - buses start at Chalfont Way ASDA. Slight change to timetable between ASDA, Royal Berkshire Hospital and town.

 Combined with route 19 to become red 22! No change to the route in Caversham. Peak times will see two buses per hour, dropping to hourly outside of the peaks. We have now included even more additional morning and an additional late afternoon weekday journey to help commuters and school children.

 Combined with pink 24 to become a circular route! Improving connections between the two areas, especially for access to schools and doctor’s surgeries and provide ‘town bound’ journeys from both sides of the roads served.

 No change to route or frequency, but some tweaks to timetables.   Click here for the times
 These routes will become circular providing more direct journeys between Reading, Caversham Centre and Lower Caversham - with route 27 operating anti-clockwise and route 29 clockwise.
