Reading Buses 

These are available on Smartcards from the Travel Centre in The Broad Street Mall, Reading. With the exception of the 7 day tickets, they may be updated in the Travel Centre. 7 day tickets may be updated in the Travel Centre or on the bus. 

The current rates are:-

£16.00 Area A (Greater Reading Urban Area )
£12.00 Thames Valley University and Reading University
£20.50 Area B
£28.50 Network 

30 day tickets

£56.00 Area A (Greater Reading Urban Area)
£72.00 Area B
£100.00 Network 

90 day tickets

£160.00 Area A (Greater Reading Urban Area)
£206.00 Area B
£286.00 Network 

The above tickets are valid for consecutive days in the period.

The Greater Reading Urban Area is the area bounded by the stops at Peppard Road (Rose Hill/Tower Close), Henley Road County Boundary, Sonning Halt, Sonning Fire Station, Loddon Bridge (The George), Shinfield (Black Boy), Three Mile Cross (Post Office) and Ryeish Green School, Burghfield Road (Railway Bridge), Savacentre and Purley Post Office. 

Area B is the area between the Greater Reading Urban Area and the outer boundary at the following stops, Peppard Common (Unicorn), Maidenhead, Riseley, Tadley and Wokingham (Three Frogs).

Network Travelcards are available for use on any Reading buses or Newbury buses services.

Newbury Buses 

The Newbury/Thatcham Zonal Area Travelcards are covered in the Zonal Travelcard section. 

The Newbury/Thatcham Zonal area is the area bounded by the stops at Donnington Castle, Shaw Cemetery , Cold Ash Crossroads, Upper Bucklebury (Peaches Stores), Colthrop Mills turn, Thatcham Station, Bishops Green, Wash Common and Stockcross. 

Outside this area, Network Travelcards are available at £28.50 (7 days), £100.00 (30 days) and £286.00 (90 days).
