Premier Routes 15, 33 and 35 - Proposed changes from Sept 08

The Problem

The present Sunday service is not quite regular (i.e. the journeys are not evenly spread across the hour) with one journey per hour on Route 15 and one journey per hour on Sundays-only Route 35.

Our Proposal

In place of Route 18 which would be withdrawn on Sundays, an extra journey on Premier Route 15 would operate each hour. This would give a regular half-hourly timetable for Premier Route 15 on Sundays. Route 35 (Sundays only) would be withdrawn in consequence, being replaced by Premier Route 33 operating on its weekday route along Tilehurst Road. This meets the requests of residents and makes the route simpler and easier to use.
